


Making the tricky step up to 9-a-side from their previous 7-a-side game, with three-quarter size goals and pitches, the team struggled to cope with the full regulations as they suffered an opening day defeat away to Grove Farm Rangers. However, there was plenty to be optimistic about as the team worked hard to overcome long grass and an uneven pitch.
With 7 players making their debuts, it looks likely to take a few games for the team to gel but with a bit of hard work on the training ground in their black and white Champion training kit, it surely won't be long before the results begin to match the winning appearance of the boys.
